Would it make sense to you to sell candles if you never burned them or couldn’t stand the smell?
Would it make sense to you to sell fitness products if you’ve never excercised a day in your life?
Would it make sense to you to sell cooking supplies and spices if you always ate your meals out?
We are experiencing an amazing time right now. The direct selling market is booming and the selection of business opportunities is countless. There is no need to “settle” anymore for the 1 or 2 opportunities available.
When you are initially deciding which direct selling company to get involved with, sit down and ask yourself FIRST what is it that you REALLY love. Is it candles? Is it fitness? Is it cooking? Is it “green”? Is it make-up? Only you know the answer to that.
Don’t just jump on the first thing that comes along that looks like it will make you money. In most cases – if you don’t love what you do – it won’t matter!
And don’t get sucked in to what “everyone else is doing”. Again if you don’t like the product, if you don’t already use the product, stay clear and keep looking.
Several years ago I got involved with a “weight-loss” program. I did it because my husband had previously used the product and he thought it was a great company and a great product. In the “big picture” it IS a great product (and company) but I couldn’t sell it to save my life. I had no personal interest in the product and didn’t like the taste of it either. And even thought I spent a LOT of time “working the business” I never made a dime. People could tell it wasn’t my “passion”, they could tell I wasn’t really interested in the product.
Now I know there ARE people out there that can sell anything to anybody. But are you that person? You need to be honest with yourself. Don’t waste your time, don’t waste other people’s time!
With all the direct selling companies out there, you should be able to come up with something that is suitable to you. What do you love? What are you passionate about? Don’t make it harder for yourself then it already is….. match the opportunity with what you love.
With a little bit of research you can find a work-at-home business opportunity and a product(s) that’s right for you!
